Our furnished home is available for rent from mid August 2015 – mid August 2016. Exact dates are negotiable.

The main floor of the house (1/2 duplex) has a full kitchen, dining area, and living area with built in bookshelves, a mounted TV, and gas fireplace. The back door opens into an outdoor patio space with seating, a BBQ, and a small garden. The second floor features two bedrooms (one with an full bathroom ensuite), a full bathroom, a washer and dryer, and linen closet. The top floor has a smaller bedroom which opens to a small rooftop patio. There is also a garage, which we mostly use for storage since there is parking in the alley and in front on the house. The house is <10 years old and in great shape.

We live in the amazing Grandview-Woodlands community in East Vancouver, just off of Commercial Drive. We are located halfway between SFU’s Burnaby campus and the downtown Vancouver campus. The area is renowned for its friendly community feel, amazing cafes and restaurants, and great access to active transportation options including public transit and bike lanes. We are walking distance from several elementary schools, two secondary schools, public parks, soccer/baseball pitches, playgrounds, a library, two indoor swimming pool, two community centres,  transit, and bike paths. And we have a great neighbours!

Several SFU families (students, faculty, and staff) live in the neighbourhood because of the easy access to campus via public transportation (either via the Skytrain or an express bus service) or easy access to major city roadways downtown and up to SFU Burnaby.

Monthly rent is $2900 (plus hydro+gas).
